Production of 40 million 60kg bags p.a. Our relationship coffee comes from the Torriba farm between Sao Sebastiao do Paraiso and Franca, south of Minas. Altitude 1050 m. 200 ha. Bourboun, Mundo Novo & Catuai varieties.
1.1 million 60kg sacks p.a. Our Direct Trade coffee comes from Santa Ana, Ahuachapan and Sonsonate from farms owned by Federico Pacas, and is grown above 1200m. Predominantly Bourboun with some Tuxpal. Also Richard's birth place and source of his pro-active driving skills. We will be buying our next shipment from Andreas Giron, who came to NZ for a year and worked for Altezano.
Production of 4.85 million 60 kg sacks p.a. Our FT coffee comes from Harrar, and/or Sidamo, depending on which is cupping best. The grower is either the Sidama Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union or the Oromia one; they are cultivated between 1400m & 2000m. The varieties are impossible to define in Ethiopia because the tree stock is too interspersed. Despite the challenges that African coffee often presents, it is well worth the hassle for what it brings to the cup.
Production of 4 million 60 kg sacks p.a. Our coffee comes from the Antigua region and is grown above 1000 m. When possible we buy the Cinco Estrellas, an outstanding blend of the five best from this area. Guatemala is also the birth place of Tim.

Production of 11.5 million 60kg sacks p.a. Our relationship coffee comes from private (non-government owned) co-ops from the Ijen Plateau and is grown above 1200m.
Production of 4.5 million 60kg sacks. Our fairtrade coffee comes from the ISMAM Co-op in Chiapas. Varieties include Tipica, Caturra & Bourboun grown between 1100m & 1700m.

Production statistics unknown. Our fairtrade coffee comes from Co-operativa Cafe Timor and is grown between 800m & 1700m. Varieties include Typica & Catimor.
Another of our Relationship Coffees, this organic coffee is grown on Tanna Island. It is beautifully prepared and offers loads of body with minimal acidity. Although it is grown on the Yasur Volcano, it isn't culitvated at extremely high altitude and so we prefer not to roast it too darkly.
